I made the choice to step away from dA for little bit and it may still be another month or two before I start being active again. I just decided to step in and say hi. I have had a lot on my plate lately. I decided to go back to school and took on another project from work. I will be done with school in August, which I hope will mean more time for my art. I am working on a little personal concept dev project that I may end up pitching or selling off. If I don't, I will be sharing pieces from that soon. It's a journal entry (with two tickets to that thing you love...okay, that was pushing it). I. Am. Swamped. And it's a nice feeling. My pre-mom studio emailed me not long ago asking if I'd be willing to do some freelance stuff and I was like "heck freaking yes!". So I'm working on promo art for them. I'm hoping that I'll be able to post this once it's done. Add that to being a full-time mom, going to school, another freelance job, and preparing for Oireachtas and I have me a full plate. I find myself severely lacking when it comes to drawing animals. Therefore, I fully intend to hit our local zoo this Saturday in search of enlightenment. Mind you, I'll have my little one with me so that may slow me down a bit, but any of my Utah peeps want to come? I'm not sure what time yet. It'll probably be in the morning before it gets ugly hot.
