Another one down.

Wow, where did that semester go? It's over and done. Kinda sad, though. I never wanted the head painting class to end. It was by far my favourite class at the Y. My color theory improved so much, as well as speed. I have one more painting from that class I want to post. Near future, k?

Anyway, I've been a bit scarce, but it's been so busy with work and all. I'll have a little more time for personal arts now that summer break is here (I'll have classes, but not for a few weeks). Right now my plan is to take 3 summer courses and two in the fall. I'll probably walk this August seeing as there's a real possibility of leaving Utah for grad school. *sigh*

Hope to see y'all a little more often. And *prismadragonfly, I promise I haven't forgotten!

Oh oh oh, one last thing. During the last few days I've been browsing youtube as a means of stress relief (oh finals...) and I came across this clip from Cirque du Soleil's Varekai. I've seen this before, but I now appreciate the incredible acting and stage presence these guys have. The grass pants bloke has the best expressions. I thought I'd share it. Enjoy:

Yay for finishing another semester! Its funny - I've been graduated for a year now and still haven't missed school. I certainly miss the social aspect of it, but not the actual school part. I do have a quick question for you though, where are you going to grad school? What're you wanting to do with it? I only ask because I have been pondering that as well and just wanna hear what others are doing.

I am curious about this "grad school" thing too. ???

And yes, I love classes that I am sad to see end! I really enjoyed my storyboarding class, even though things got hectic and stressful toward the end there. I feel like I not only learned a lot, but learned enough to be able to continue to learn more through exercises we used in that class. :)

Honestly, is not me! It's the hubby. He wants to do aerospace engineering. But after attending graduation today, the thought crossed my mind and was pretty appealing. Jonathan also mentioned today he thinks I should go for it. So on a few hours of thought, I'm thinking Art Center (but it's so expeeeensive). I haven't done any research, though. I will.

For Skippy, not me!

I second the learning out of class bit. It's helping my digital painting quite a bit, too.

Ahhhh, i see, I see. Yeah, I'm still doing research on it too. There's gotta be options out there for us, but we'll see what happens!
