Ha! I finally got the bigger version to work. This looks much better than the other one. It was so small you couldn't see it very well.
Anywho, 8 frames, lots of hours, photoshop, tablet, and some patience. I need to do more animating! Ah! I sure haven't been doing much for an animation major....
Ohhh, lucky you! I have so much trouble getting my people to move their bodies. x_x Facial expressions are fine, but the bodies are really hard. Good job!
Hmm... you could do him firing an arrow or fighting with his sword or riding Epona althought that could be hard. Something liike that. Just some ideas!
Hey, thanks! I thought about Link riding Epona, and realized...dang...I'd have to really study the gait and the anatomy of the horse first. That might be my first choice, though. Heh. It might be suicide! Firing an arrow is a cool idea!
VERY well done. Walk/run cycles are so hard. -__-; The rhythm of his hair flapping is perfect, as is the rotation of his chest. Just gorgeous. And the span of his legs is very natural, too. I think he could have more weight, though - right now it looks almost like he's running on his tip-toes rather than hitting the ground hard. But it's really great, especially for how simple it is. So smooth and only eight frames. Wonderful job.
Thanks! It's _very_ simple, but it was fun all the same. Heh, he runs on his toes...you're very observant! Yep, running track will do that to you. I didn't notice he was doing that until I loaded the sketches onto the computer and put them together. I guess I was thinking "he's sprinting...good sprinting form is on the toes"....I dunno.
